Mark Pollock

Mark Pollock broke upon the Boston Rock scene in the middle '80's as keyboard player with the seminal Boston band UXB, and has spent time playing in various other bands, including Voyce, Shuffle the Cards, and The Cherries.  As keyboardist, vocalist, and mandolin player for the Boston-based rhythm and blues band the Bruce Marshall Group since 1991,  Pollock has shared the stage with Joe Cocker, Charlie Daniels, The Beach Boys, The Outlaws, The Band, America, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Bo Diddley, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, The Pousette-Dart Band, James Montgomery, Jethro Tull, Peter Wolf, Edgar Winter, Eddie Money, and Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues.  With the 1997 release of his debut solo CD, Burning In Your Bones, Pollock stepped out of his role as sideman for the first time to showcase his songwriting, multi-instrumental and vocal talents on his own original material. In 1998 he released his 2nd CD, Corridors of Light, and put together a band, The Big Spenders,  to perform the material on the two CD's. Mark Pollock and the Big Spenders , Pollock's 3rd full-length CD, was released late in  2000, and a 4-song EP CD, "Get What You Deserve," was released in February of 2002.  With the departure and arrival of new members, the name of the band was changed to Expenders in 2005, and the band entered the studio to record a new CD, which was released in September of 2006.  The new CD, entitled Expenders, has 9 new tracks and also include the 4 tracks from the 2002 EP, Get What You Deserve.
