Burning in Your Bones, released in 1997, was recorded and mastered at various studios in the Boston area, and features an eclectic variety of acoustic and electric musical styles, borrowing from folk, gospel, rock, and rhythm and blues. Supporting performances came from some of Bostons best musicians, including drummer Ken Hickey, formerly of O-Positive; saxophonists Andrew Clark of SAXATTACK and Tony Quintiliani of Clutch Grabwell; guitarist Jeff Lock, formerly of The Atlantics and UXB; and guitarist David Cournoyer of the Bruce Marshall Group. Pollock plays piano, organ, synthesizers, acoustic and electric guitars, and mandolin on the CD, as well as performing lead vocals. The original CD cover artwork for Burning in Your Bones was produced by award-winning Canton airbrush artist Steve Leahy.
